REQUESTS
Peak Prep makes computers available for loan to all Peak Prep Pleasant Valley students. Please email [email protected] to request that the loaner laptop form be sent to you via Dochub for electronic signature.
RETURNS
Upon leaving our school (or at our request) please submit a return request:
SETTING UP YOUR COMPUTER
You should have received (1) Chromebook and (1) Adapter charger. The username and Password were emailed to the primary guardian’s email address you listed while enrolling.
Please check your welcome email or reach out to [email protected] to ask that it be sent again.
PLUG IN THE CHROMEBOOK
Locate and plug the power adapter to the Chromebook and the other end into a power outlet.
TURN ON THE CHROMEBOOK
Locate the power button, which may be located on the top-right corner of the keyboard itself.
CONNECT TO YOUR INTERNET
Locate and click the Wi-Fi Network menu on the screen’s lower right side and add or select your network name. Your Chromebook may detect several nearby home or business networks. You can ignore them.
If your Chromebook requests it, enter your network password. The Wi-Fi bars onscreen fluctuate as your computer tries to connect. After the connection is established, the Continue button at the bottom of the dialog window becomes active.
Click on the Continue button.
LOG IN TO CHROMEBOOK
All students are assigned a Peak Prep Gmail address. This will be your login for ALL platforms, including your laptop. Check your welcome email from the enrollment specialist for your Gmail username.
To log into your Peak Prep Gmail address:
1. Visit gmail.com
Enter your Peak Prep Student Gmail that was emailed to you:
Enter your temporary password: Peak2023!
- You will be prompted to enter a new password. Please write it down. Staff cannot access it but can reset it for you if you forget it.
OPEN CHROME BROWSER
Your Course Dashboard will automatically log you in with your assigned Username.
